Not only do these intricate details add a nice finish to the slate roof at the Calanais Visitor Centre, but they also show the level of skill held by our lead workers.   These details were designed and manufactured by Uisdean Reid, using scrap materials that otherwise would have gone to waste. It’s great to see our local tradesmen leaving their signature on local projects.   Uisdean’s work is an incredible reflection on the skillset of our tradesmen.
