At Lewis Builders Ltd, we recognise that our most important asset is our staff. It is our intent to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to improving health and safety at work throughout our company. We recognise that safety training is an integral part of this strategy and we carry out continuous professional development with all our employees to enable all of our operatives to be as safe as possible at all times.

 

It is our goal to become industry leaders by promoting best practice and remaining in accordance with the guidance of regulatory bodies. We are proactive in adhering to health and safety legislation through our policies, training and ongoing inspections.

Over the last number of years, we have taken big steps in Health, Safety and Environmental issues. Ewen Maclean has been hired as a full time HSEQ Manager. We continue to be certified by SafeContractor and recently received certification to Constructionline Gold.

 

We have recently put in place an Environmental system in conformance to ISO 14001 and hope to have this certification by August 2027 when we have our stage 2 audit.
