This project firstly involved diverting and altering the existing services to then construct a reinforced concrete over slab at the link-span on Pier 1, Stornoway.

26 tonnes of reinforced steel was used in the setting out of the new concrete slab and over 260 metres cubed of designed mixed concrete was poured to create the new slab.
